Chiron was a teacher and mentor to many famous heroes such as Hercules and Jason. Hercules accidently mortally wounded Chiron with an arrow covered in Hydra-venom. Instead of forcing him to go to the underworld, Zeus granted him a spot in the stars and is now know as the constellation Sagittarius. .
